VADER INBOARD REAR BRAKES Vader Racing has done it again! The wildest, high-tech, brake conversion out there.The conversion uses Wilwood racing brake technology with 4 piston aluminum Dynalight calipers, a ventilated 10.5 inch disc, and their Polymatrix brake pads. The brake torque is equivalent to a 12.32 inch disc in front for the stock 54/46% brake distribution. An even better modified weight distribution, resulting in a braking distribution of 60/40% would equate to a 15.75 inch disc in front. |

VADER BRAKES ADVANTAGES Just plain sex appeal! Inboard rear brakes eliminating ALL the rear brake unsprung weight (almost 50 pounds), and completely eliminates 35 pounds from the rear end. The shift housing is extended 3 inches resulting in a straighter connection for the linkage for clearance and improved shifting. Non-moving brake calipers eliminate the need for flexible brake hoses at the calipers in the rear resulting in firmer brake application and providing the possibilities of improved high-tech appearance. (a single flexible hose at the frame is recommended.) In continuing with the Vader Racing tradition, this system CAN be installed by the “do-it-yourselfer” even without removing the transaxle, although it is MUCH easier with the ZF removed from the car. A set of special tools are shipped with the kit and a $200 rebate will be mailed upon return. |
DISADVANTAGES The installation requires slight modifications to the case with some drilling and tapping using installation tools that come with the kit (although the transaxle can be returned to stock configuration). The only disassembly of the transaxle is the shift housing, which is quite simple and requires no special tools. Installation requires rerouting rear brake lines and the use of a brake proportioning valve. |

VADER II HEADLIGHTS The ultimate in Pantera lighting. Absolutely the lowest, easiest to install headlight product available. This is NOT an Economy non-legal system, but a DOT approved Projector low beam and matching high intensity "free form" high beam both from HELLA. The HELLA Free Form lamp has a reflector with a computer designed complex shape using over 50,000 points to define the shape. The HELLA Projector, or DE lamp has a free form reflector that is so convoluted that it takes a special projector lens to get the light going in the right direction. Both lights use the new high output H9 65W bulbs which makes 2100 lumens compared with 1650/1000 Lumens for a 55W H4. The light output and cutoff of the Projector beam is absolutely fantastic. No need for HID, but if you must have the ultimate-ultimate, these are available for an additional cost of $400 for either high or low beam; both for $800. |

VADER II HEADLIGHT ADVANTAGES No plastic or fiberglass here. The real Vader II lights are a completely assembled module with 1/2 inch thick aluminum billet face plate that drops in modified bucket with only 4 stainless screws. With a headlight opening of only 4 inches (Includes adapter to change limit switch), the top of the headlight bucket is actually parallel to the roadway for the lowest, sleek, aggressive look that belongs on the Pantera, unlike competitors that are 1/2 to 1 inch higher. In continuing with the Vader Racing tradition, this system can be installed WITHOUT removing the bucket from the car and NO REPAINTING of your existing buckets. Vader II can be fit to both original buckets as well as buckets that have been modified for the original Vader Headlight system.

ORIGINAL VADER HEADLIGHTS The Vader Headlight Conversion has been a standard for many years for the Pantera owner wanting to get rid of the FROG EYE look. This conversion utilizes a 4 x 6 inch bulb and therefore raise up only approximately 4 inches. |

VADER HEADLIGHT ADVANTAGES Eliminate the FROG EYE look. Raise up less than 1/2 the height in less than 1/2 the time. A unique design feature also helps eliminate headlight "flutter" due to worn out bushings on the headlight shaft. Comes with Halogen DOT approved bulbs which gives FAR more light (both high and low beam) than stock headlights. You can still use the "Off Road" H4 units. This is the only conversion available that can be installed on your car WITH THE HEADLIGHT BUCKETS IN PLACE! No repainting that special paint job. |

VADER WINDOW REGULATOR The New Vader Window Regulator Conversion represents the latest in Vader Engineering excellence. This product cures one of the major problem areas in the Pantera. 1. Slow moving windows (if at all). 2. Failure to recess completely resulting in a very uncomfortable place to rest your arm. 3. Heavy. 4. Interferes with speaker installation. 5. Expensive to replace. |

VADER WINDOW REGULATOR ADVANTAGES The Vader Window Regulator installs WITH THE SAME MOUNTING LOCATIONS AND HARDWARE, WITH NO MODIFICATIONS OR HOLES TO DRILL IN YOUR DOOR. THE HARDEST PART OF INSTALLATION IS REMOVING THE OLD ASSEMBLY. It solves all the problems listed, and more. Raises and lowers the window completely in about 2 seconds. Weighs ½ the original regulator and motor assembly. Uses modern cable technology which opens up extra space for speakers, etc. NOTE: Although the Vader Regulators have more power than the stock units, they are intended to replace properly working (although slow) stock Pantera window regulators and they may not be able to overcome other problems such as out of alignment door frames or window tracks, improper (too tight) window weather-stripping, or faulty wiring. |

THE REVOLUTIONARY NEW REAR DECK LIFT BY VADER RACING Problems with the stock or replacement gas struts include: 1. The gas leaks out and they need replacing every few years. 2. The stock struts will not hold up a deck lid with most wings that are added. 3. A "heavy duty" gas strut puts extra stress on the hinge attachments causing permanent damage and distortion to the fit of the deck lid. |

VADER LIFT ADVANTAGES The Vader Lift eliminates EVERY one of these problems by utilizing a design similar to American car and truck hood hinges (before they became disposables). Gas struts actually exert more pressure in the closed position than when the deck lid is up. The Vader Lift, by using a leverage design, exerts less pressure in the closed position, and in fact less pressure than a stock gas strut. YET IT EASILY HOLDS A DECK LID WITH EVEN THE HEAVY "DELTA" WING! NO MORE DAMAGE TO THE HINGE AREA OF YOUR PANTERA! |
DISADVANTAGES The Vader Lift must be installed, requiring a drilled hole through the upper "frame" area a few inches to the rear of the original lower strut mount (the Vader Lift uses the stock upper mount). For the do it your -selfer, a 3/8 drill (1/2 inch is better or some means to open one side of hole to 1/2 inch) and hand wrenches are all that is required. The unique design adds some pressure, but does not force the deck lid up from the closed position, and therefore requires more effort to open. |
